Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026. This notice explains what personal information XZONE RADIO collects through this website and how it is used.
Who we are
XZONE RADIO is run by XZONE MEDIA LTD, Suite A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, IP28 7DE, United Kingdom. Contact: xzoneradio@xzonemedia.com, 020 3576 5770.
Listening
You can listen without an account. To deliver the audio, the streaming server receives your device’s IP address and technical details (such as the app or browser you use), as any internet service does. These are used only to run the stream, count how many people are listening at once, and keep the service secure.
Requests, shoutouts and messages
If you send a song request, shoutout, message, application or advertising enquiry, we receive the name, email address and message you type, plus a phone number or organisation if you choose to give one. We use these only to read your message, reply, and decide what to play or read on air. A person at the station reads every message before anything is broadcast. Messages are deleted automatically after six months.
To stop spam, the website counts how many messages are sent from a connection in an hour. It uses a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address for this count only, keeps it for no more than an hour, and does not store it with your message.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and visitors are not tracked across sites. Cookies are only set if you log in to manage the website.
Counting visits
To understand how the site is used, we count page visits and how many people press play, without cookies and without storing anything on your device. For each visit we record the page, the type of device (phone, tablet or computer), the website you came from, and a scrambled code made from your connection and browser together with a secret that changes every day. That code can’t be turned back into your address and can’t be linked from one day to the next. These records are kept for 13 months. If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal, nothing is counted.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. Our website and email are hosted by our hosting provider, which processes data on our behalf. We may share information if the law requires it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
